COVER SHOULD MATCH THE REAL TRIP
The cheapest policy
may leave the largest gaps.
WHY TRAVEL INSURANCE MATTERS
A safety net for
the parts you cannot control.
Insurance cannot prevent disruption, but suitable cover can reduce the financial impact when illness, cancellation, delay or baggage problems affect the journey.
01 · MEDICAL
Overseas treatment
Emergency medical care and evacuation can be costly, especially in remote destinations or where suitable facilities are limited.
02 · CANCELLATION
Prepaid travel costs
Eligible cancellation or curtailment cover may protect non-refundable flights, accommodation and packages when an insured event occurs.
03 · DISRUPTION
Delays and belongings
Depending on the plan, benefits may apply to travel delay, missed connections, damaged or delayed baggage and other covered events.
CHOOSE FOR THE JOURNEY YOU ARE ACTUALLY TAKING
Destination, age and activities
change what suitable cover means.
01
Start with the destination.
Medical costs, remoteness, length of stay and regional cover all affect the plan you should consider.
02
Declare the travellers correctly.
Age, health circumstances and the definition of an individual or family plan can affect eligibility and benefits.
03
Check the activities.
Winter sports, cruises and higher-risk activities may require specific cover, extensions or additional premium.
04
Read limits and exclusions.
Benefit limits, excesses, sub-limits and exclusions matter as much as the headline list of benefits.
FOR CLUB MED TRAVELLERS
The resort may be all-inclusive.
Your journey still needs protection.
Club Med has discontinued its own travel insurance offering, so travellers should arrange separate protection. Consider the flights, transfers, prepaid resort cost and planned activities—not only the time inside the resort.
