CLUB MED TRANSFERS
From arrival hall
to resort welcome.
A practical guide to shared transfers, private transport, meeting points and the information needed to connect your journey with your Club Med stay.
AIRPORT · FERRY · RAIL · PRIVATE VEHICLE · RESORT ARRIVAL
A TRANSFER ONLY WORKS WHEN THE FLIGHT, ARRIVAL POINT, LUGGAGE AND RESORT CHECK-IN ALL CONNECT.
The last part of the journey
deserves a clear plan.
WHICH TRANSFER ARE YOU USING?
Same destination.
Different arrangements.
Club Med transfers are not identical across resorts. The transport may be scheduled, shared, private or tied to a particular ferry, flight or train arrival.
01 · SCHEDULED
Shared resort transfer
Operates at defined times and meeting points. Flight timing, advance booking and punctual check-in are essential.
02 · PRIVATE
Private vehicle transfer
Useful for non-standard flight times, larger families, extra luggage or travellers who prefer direct transport.
03 · MULTI-STAGE
Ferry, rail or boat connection
Some resorts require a ferry, speedboat or train connection. Each stage must be planned as one continuous journey.
BEFORE YOU ASSUME IT IS INCLUDED
Read the package line.
Then check the arrival details.
01
Included only when stated.
Some Club Med packages include scheduled collective transfers. A resort booking alone does not automatically confirm transport.
02
The correct gateway matters.
The included or bookable transfer may apply only from a named airport, terminal, ferry port or train station.
03
Flight and train details are operational.
Arrival time, flight number, terminal, passenger names and contact details may be required before transfer services can be confirmed.
04
Late changes can change the plan.
Schedule changes, missed connections or delayed baggage can affect eligibility for the booked departure and may require alternative transport.

WHAT WE NEED BEFORE TRANSPORT CAN BE CONFIRMED
The small details
move the whole journey.
Booking: resort name, check-in and check-out dates, lead guest and booking reference.
Arrival: flight or train number, date, scheduled time, terminal and departure city.
Travellers: adult and child count, child ages, mobility needs and contact number.
Luggage: checked bags, ski equipment, prams, wheelchairs and any oversized items.
Contingency: a reachable mobile number and a plan for flight delays or missed connections.
ON ARRIVAL
Three steps from baggage
to the onward journey.
01
Collect every bag first.
Leave the baggage area only after the full party and luggage are together. Report missing bags before exiting where required.
02
Find the confirmed meeting point.
Use the terminal, counter, desk or representative instructions supplied for the booking. Airport signage alone may not be enough.
03
Register and remain contactable.
Check in with the representative, confirm the party and keep the lead traveller’s phone switched on until boarding.
TRANSFER QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Club Med transfer FAQs
Practical answers about inclusion, delays, luggage, children, private vehicles, meeting points and schedule changes.
01
Are transfers automatically included?
No. They are included only when the package or confirmation states this clearly. Otherwise they must be added or arranged separately.
02
What if my flight is delayed?
Contact the emergency or local transfer number supplied for the booking as soon as possible. A later shared service is not guaranteed and private transport may be chargeable.
03
How early should I reach the meeting point?
Follow the confirmed instruction for that service. Scheduled buses and ferries require registration before departure, and late arrival can result in a missed transfer.
04
Can I bring ski equipment or oversized luggage?
Usually only when declared in advance and accepted for the booked vehicle. Equipment, prams and oversized bags can affect capacity or require a larger vehicle.
05
Are child seats provided?
Availability and legal requirements vary by country and vehicle operator. Supply every child’s age and size early so the appropriate request can be checked.
06
Can I book a private transfer?
Often yes, subject to route and vehicle availability. Private transport may suit late flights, large families, groups, mobility needs or extra luggage.
07
Can schedules change after booking?
Yes. Seasonal timetables, flight operations and resort transport plans can change. Reconfirm the final instruction before travel.
08
Who should I contact at the airport?
Use the Club Med representative, desk or emergency contact stated in the final transfer document. Travelution can help verify the instruction before departure.
